The Friends of the North Adams Library sponsored a military brick tribute project to honor United States service members. This tribute is installed around the flagpole located in front of the library. Individuals wishing to pay tribute to a U.S. service member or veteran may sponsor a military tribute brick, which will be inscribed with the service member’s name, branch of service, and dates of service. These bricks will be placed beneath the flagpole.
